About the Job

We’ve got big plans for our leading EdTech products but our number one priority is our customers and the experience that they have working with Gecko.  Our goal to double revenue every year for the next 2 years (and beyond...) relies on continuing to execute our plan and expand our strategy; as a result, we are seeking an ambitious Marketing & Events Executive to support the marketing team in meeting demand and lead generation objectives.


This is a particularly unique opportunity for an expeirence marketer to join an innovative and growing SaaS company as we move into our next phase of growth and product development. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will use your marketing and event management experience to assist in achieving marketing goals and generate marketing qualified leads that positively impact sales pipeline. Your main duties are areas of responsibility will include: 


  • Event planning, logistics, management, analysis and recommendations
  • Work with colleagues on the creation and implementation of targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive lead generation
  • Assistance with managing marketing automation, CRM and other relevant systems to ensure ease of campaign execution, tracking and analysis
  • Support with content generation across the website and social media networks
  • Support with PPC campaigns, tracking and analysis
  • Creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, such as; brochures, exhibition stand, corporate giveaways
  • Development of creative ideas for content aimed at generating demand for our products and positioning GeckoEngage as experts in our field

Requirements

About you

As well as being a rising marketing star, you will be well-experienced in marketing, perhaps previously in a more generalist marketing role, with proven experience of both campaign and content support/creation/implementation.  Displaying the qualities of someone who is business-savvy, you will;  

  • Be knowledgeable and experienced working with Marketing practices and at organising Conferences/Event
  • Have experience of successful event management and trade show logistics
  • Be detail-oriented as well as an excellent and efficient communicator, with strong writing skills which can or will be utilised to draft content for campaigns and web pages
  • Have strong IT skills and knowledge base including; CRM (such as Salesforce or Pardot marketing automation tools) 
  • Have a technical aptitude and ability to learn software programs (full training will be provided on our software products)
  • Have efficient event networking skills
  • Be a self-starter and highly driven; the ability to work on your own initiative is key however you must also be able to work alongside those within your team and the wider Gecko team worldwide 
  • Good at problem-solving and remaining calm under pressure
  • Be confident in front of customers or when customer-facing
  • Be able to travel internationally for events and conferences 
  • It would also be beneficial if you had knowledge or experience of SaaS business model and also experience of SEO/PPC.
