About the Job

As Gecko grows, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building and refining software products that our customers will love. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, where new products have been known to ship in a couple of months, and alongside a great team who embrace new technology.


It is essential that you possess a mindset that introduces new ideas and thinking, and have a positive, meaningful impact on our products, team and our culture.  It would be great if you bring experience of a tech scale-up environment, having seen first hand the challenges that scaling brings but it’s not a pre-requisite. 

 

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Lead our software product planning, development, design and UX
  • Measure, manage, and optimize product performance to improve conversion
  • Speaking to our customers and understanding their goals
  • Conduct user and A/B testing as part of market research
  • Work closely with our CEO and Marketing team to translate consumer behaviour, growth hack, viral impact, and traffic into successful product
  • Product analytical reporting 
  • Ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards

Requirements

About you

  • Highly-experienced in developing & managing software technology product(s) throughout its life cycle
  • Sound knowledge of customer-focused design and usability principles
  • Experience in Agile development practices and wire-framing processes
  • Possess a high-level understanding of product architecture
  • A passion for new technology and how it is used to develop great products
  • Excellent ability at managing tasks, prioritising, and paying attention to detail
  • A high level of motivation and commitment to take responsibility for our software
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills
  • A desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Willing to challenge convention
