About the Job

We’ve got big plans for our leading EdTech products in the US and we will be investing significant time, energy and capital into building out our US team and Gecko’s market share. Our goal to double revenue ever year for the next 2 years (and beyond...) and we need high performing Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to help us achieve this.

As a SDR, you will be at the forefront of initial contact with prospective customers and will be responsible for;


  • Researching new prospects within Colleges
  • Engaging with prospects via telephone, email, LinkedIn and at events
  • Qualifying outbound and inbound leads
  • Conducting discovery calls with prospects to identify key challenges
  • Scheduling product demonstrations with our account executives
  • Maintaining accurate data within our CRM (Salesforce & Outreach)
  • Working as part of the sales team to hit overall targets


About You

As well as having both exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, you will be an excellent and efficient communicator, flying the flag for Gecko. Displaying the qualities of someone who is curious, ambitious and business-savvy, you will be;

  • Customer-focused; great at building trust quickly and professionally
  • Able to establish a need and then offering a value added solution by following a defined sales process, turning leads into qualified opportunities
  • Hard working, resilient and driven - you love numbers and winning the data game
  • Commercially and technically astute
  • A strong multitasker and thus able to handle several opportunities at once
  • Flexible and to be able to work autonomously (we're strong believers in that) in order to meet company objectives through passion and initiative
  • Able to engage with people at all levels and develop relationships
  • A good understanding of multiple CRMs and their usage and value.
  • Knowledgable of the predictable revenue model (desirable but not essential)

You will have a strong desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth tech company. Prior experience of working within the SaaS or education sector is desirable, but not essential.
